From September 23 to 26, 2024, the formation course for women religious, "God Walks with His People," will take place. This event is organized by the International Union of Superiors General and the Scalabrini International Institute for Migration and is promoted by the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development.

The course, which will be conducted in Portuguese only, will be held both in person at the Dicastery's headquarters and online from 2 PM to 5 PM Rome time.

This course is aimed at women religious who are working with, preparing to work with, or interested in working with migrants, refugees, displaced persons, trafficked persons, itinerants, and their families. The training will cover the phenomenology of migration, the international legal framework of human rights, and the responses that the Church can offer.
