"Embracing vulnerability on the Synodal journey" is the theme that will guide us in these three years after the UISG Plenary Assembly in 2022.

In our world plagued by so many uncertainties and threats, we continue to experience ourselves as fragile vessels amid the many joys and sorrows of our people. At the same time, we rest in the certainty that God is strong in our weakness and makes the light shine through our lives. 

We invite you to continue to walk together in the rhythm of the Spirit discerning the signs of the times. We will deepen last year's Plenary Assembly by reiterating our commitment:

"I commit myself to live vulnerable synodality through service as a leader, animating it within the community together with the people of God."
