Missionary Way of the Cross "Martyrs of the Land"
On the occasion of the Day of the Missionary Martyrs 2024, the Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation Commission (JPIC) of the UISG - USG, in collaboration with the Laudato Si' Movement, the Office for Missionary Cooperation between the Churches of the Diocese of Rome and the association Terra e Missione, promotes the Missionary Way of the Cross "Martyrs of the Land", which will be held on
Friday 15 March at 3.30 p.m.
in the Laudato Si' Garden of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Jeanne Antide Thouret (Via Santa Maria in Cosmedin 5, Rome).
The Way of the Cross will take place in different languages. This Way of the Cross will remember the martyrs of Latin America, in particular in memory of Ezekiel Ramin, a Combonian missionary, and will also be an opportunity to recall the rights violated in Amazonia, both for people and the environment, such as deforestation and oil exploitation.
