Job Vacancy: Commission for Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation
The UISG is looking for a religious sister for the position of the Co- Executive Secretary in the office of the Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation Commission (JPIC) Secretariat in Rome.
The position is full-time and comes with a stipend. The person chosen will replace Sr. Sheila Kinsey, fcjm, who will complete her second mandate, extended due to Covid, as Co-Secretary of the JPIC Commission of the USG-UISG in March 2023.

The JPIC Commission is a joint Commission of the Union of Superiors General (USG) and the International Union of Superiors General (UISG) of men and women’s Religious Institutes of the Catholic Church. There are over 2000 member Institutes. The Commission has four objectives – Information, Sharing, Formation and Action.
The Commission aims to integrate contemplation and action in order to help transform the world in the spirit of the Gospel through lives that witness to justice, peace and care for the integrity of creation. In its work, it focuses on the needs of people who live in situations of extreme need and those who are excluded and marginalized.
The UISG Campaign Sowing Hope for the Planet, which was launched in 2018, helps to promote the Laudato Si’ Action Plan, by engaging religious in developing global plans that integrate values of nonviolence in the creation of an integral ecology.
