Women Religious Theologians 2024

Women Religious Theologians 2024

We are now accepting applications for a new group of sisters who are theologians

UISG recently launched a new initiative that gathered several Women Religious Theologians (WRT) from across continents and congregations.  We are grateful to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation for their support of this program.

After preparatory and online sessions and as Covid-19 allowed us to meet in person, we finally were able to bring together 25 sisters for a week in Rome, on June 2022, to share our contexts and theological disciplines’ perspectives – Theology, Scripture & Canon Law. It was a great blessing and a beginning to build a network of sisters’ theologians that can serve Consecrated Life in diverse ways now and into the future.

We are now accepting applications for a new group of sisters who are theologians. We aim to start meeting online after the summer until we meet in person in Rome from May 26 to June 2, 2024.

The eligibility criteria and expectations required of participants are set out here. Taking these into account, if you or someone you know are willing to apply, please do so by filling out the online application form.

The deadline is June 30, 2023. After this date, we will proceed with the selection of the participants and inform you soon after.

If you have questions about the program, please contact us on formation@uisg.org

May God continue to bless our lives with the joy of the Spirit.

It is indeed a very good idea to harness our resources to enrich our life and service as consecrated persons. I have missed the opportunity before. I would like to belong to this amazing group now. I thank UISG for this initiative and Conrad Hilton Foundation for their support of the program. Thank you
