The Institut Français (Centre Saint Louis), in collaboration with the Centre d'études ‘Religions et Sociétés’ on the occasion of the Synod of Bishops on Synodality, host two expert facilitators for an evening of book presentations on the theme of ‘Governance in the Church’.

Presenters: 
Sister Christine Danel, Religious Xavière and Coautrice, will present her book entitled ‘Il a donné pouvoir à ses serviteurs’ (Emmanuel Editions).

This book brings together the reflections of five committed women on the complex issue of governance within the Catholic Church, an essential subject that is still evolving.

P. François Odinet, will present his work ‘Maintenant le Royaume. Hors des Pauvres pas de Salut’ (Desclées de Brouwer).

This book launches an appeal to recognise the authority of the poorest as the first recipients of the Good News, thus underlining their fundamental role in the evangelical dynamic.

The evening will be moderated by Claire Jonard, expert facilitator for the Synod of Bishops.
