Sister Laurence Loubières is the superior general of the Xaviere sisters’ community.
She joined the xavière sisters in 1999 and after her novitiate, worked in socially responsible investments in Paris, France and in Toronto, Canada. In 2019, she started working with the Jesuits in Canada as director of the Service for Discernment in Common of the Jesuit province, in charge of designing and facilitating communal discernment (=synodal) processes for several religious communities. She was elected superior general in July 2023.
Fr Jos Moons is a Jesuit
Teaching at KU Leuven and the Spirituality Institute of the Catholic University Nijmegen (NL). His background is in the area of Systematic theology, with an interest in practice. His research areas include the Holy Spirit, the Second Vatican Council and, more recently, synodality. He is currently teaching spiritual direction, inclusive ecclesiology (including synodality) and introduction to theology. His most recent book was on good practices of synodal
